This privacy policy regulates how personal information can be used by United Bank for Africa (UBA) Zambia.

For savings accounts/current accounts, dial *822*1#, for prepaid cards, dial *822# and follow the prompts.

You need to visit any UBA branch with a TPIN certificate and a copy of your NRC. For dormant accounts, you need proof of residence as well.

Charge back reversals  on UBA ATMs is within 24 hours, other bank’s ATMs is within 7 days. Charge backs switched to MasterCard take 45 days and Visa, 30 days.

On the mobile app, scroll down and find card, click on more then add the prepaid card. 

It is not possible to transfer funds  from a prepaid card to an account. You can only transfer funds from a prepaid card to another prepaid card.  However, a prepaid card can receive funds from any account (UBA and Non UBA account).

Interest rates range from 3% to 5% on basis of account type.

Account to wallet is K10, and wallet to account is 3% of the transaction amount.
